Background: Grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa and attended South Dakota
State University, graduating with a BSCE in 1977. Moved to Fort Worth in
1978 with a now ex-husband. Have spent the past 24 years practicing engineering
and being involved on projects like the Bedford water tower ( the one you
can see from SH 183), the Austin Bergstrom Airport Traffic Control Tower
and DFW Airport Automated People Mover project. I currently am vice president
at ANA Consultants, a civil engineering and surveying company. Married with
two children, in my spare time (that is a joke) I like to sail and quilt.
